Mailbox

We repainted the post and painted our family name on the box. The mailbox garden is a mixture of perennials and annuals. They are not in their glory days in this picture. I have to refresh the annuals soon. I am thinkng of using coleus for the rest of the summer through to winter. More much is needed. The black mulch looks like soil so I may use red or brown this time.

Ch-ch-changes to the living room

I guess the urge to change the rooms most frequented by guests (the living room and guest bathroom) and by you (master bedroom, kitchen, master bath) is seasonal. This change was facilitated by Garden Ridge by Six Flags.  Sadly for them the location has closed, but not before we cleaned them out. I got everything from trees to vases to a love seat. All at 70% off. Without further adieu, the changes.

Monday inspiration- A recent trip to Washington. D.C.
